Effects of Vitamin D for Breastfed Infants Influence: Literature Review

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to present the effect of vitamin D on breastfeeding infants through a literature review. Evidence from this literature review can be used as a basis for future guidelines for preventing vitamin D deficiencies in breast-feeding infants. This study investigated vitamin D deficiency, vitamin D and breast-feeding, vitamin D deficiency prevention, and the role of nurses. The results of this study showed that we need more training and research related to vitamin D supplements along with breast-feeding promotion, as well as providing direction for nursing practice t according to the scientific evidence from the latest clinical studies.
